LIC New Plans 2026
All the new LIC policies launched this year – what each one does, who it suits, and which old plans have been withdrawn.
LIC celebrated its 70th anniversary on 1 September 2026, and the financial year 2026-27 has brought several new plans along with the withdrawal of some popular older ones. If you are planning to buy a new LIC policy, it is worth knowing what is new – and making sure you are not being sold a plan that is no longer available.
Below is a simple guide to the new plans, prepared by the office of Vedpal Singh, LIC Development Officer at the Manimajra branch, Chandigarh. Plan numbers and dates are from LIC’s official announcements on licindia.in.
